I see people get really excited about the prospect of revenge games, but they always seem to be just empty hype - see Tyreek vs. Chiefs (Notable exception: AJ Brown vs. Titans game where he danced on their graves, but I don’t really consider that one revenge). The player taking the field to honor a recently deceased immediate family member seems like a much more consistent narrative that yields big games.

AJ Brown against Tennessee last season had 8-119-2 and the GM who traded him was fired right after the game. I’d say that’s some pretty good revenge lol
