I want to talk about the run game. I don’t have access to all-22 so would really love input from anyone that does have access to it but from what I’m observing, a big problem w our run game is how basic the concepts are.

We aren’t multiple in our run plays. Seems like we run a ton of inside zone and off tackle zone w a pull sometimes. I do like that it’s a north south run game but more horizontal runs, power pull runs and wham concepts would be great.

When we go under center we run the ball 100% of the time and we run on obvious run downs. Under Doug we had such a multiple run game. Under center, shotgun, misdirection, horizontal zone runs, gap runs etc.

What are y’all feeling and people with all-22 is swift not seeing blocks well right now? (He has a pretty poor pff grade which would factor in how good his blocks are)

Our run game concept is very reliant on the threat of Jalen Hurts keeping the ball and freezing a linebacker. People knows he running less and injured to boot, so linebackers are worrying about it as much.

I think it’s that and cam Jurgens
