This is the situation: Ryzen 3600 + 6600xt + 16gb 3000mhz xpm profile + ssd, m2, hdd disk
After amd 22.5.1 driver they optimized dxnavi for dx11 games, amazing news right? after that optimization, many games have heavy stuttering at first launch or after big updates, for what i know the heavy stuttering come from shader compilation. I tried using lastest driver with dxnavi “off” but i loose perfomance atleast 20% … so still bad
So i want skip that dxnavi by trying linux, what software/games i use and i care:
Peace (sound equalizer)
Spotify, discord, steam, battlenet, google chrome, genius gx driver
Games: Forza5, battlefields, warframe, wayfinder, dota, overwatch and some sp games like torchlight, elder ring and resident evils
Whats your advice here witch linux i should aim, linux have support for these games and apps?
For what i saw, kde its the best one since have better compability with gaming stuff but can be wrong
thanks!
If you’re new to Linux, i recommend some user-friendly distro instead going for best gaming bleeding edge Arch-something. Try Linux Mint and get used to Linux. You can always switch to something else later.
