Getting swept in round one of the playoffs? Losing the play in game? Not making the play in but seeing good development? What would be the lowest bar for success for you?

    Successful season will be:

    • Playing competitive basketball that is worth watching bc we have at least an outside chance to win any game.
    • A top-10 defense per Udoka’s stated goal.
    • Measurable and noticeable improvement over last season and throughout this season for each of the players in our young core.
    • By the end of the season, changing the Rockets reputation around the league and in the media so that a game against Houston is no longer considered an automatic win.
    • Finishing the season in the top half of the league in offensive rating.

So in a way I could still be able to consider it a successful season even if we miss the playoffs, but at the same time if all of these metrics are met, it would be surprising to miss the playoffs.
