Hello fellow Steam Deckers! My whole life I was a console gamer. PC gaming never was my cup of tea for myiad of reasons. But once I saw Steam Deck. I got interested albeit conflicted on to when ever is it really for me or not.
With the announced OLED model, Steam Deck solved one of the three issues I had that is battery life which is not as good as Oled switch (my current handheld) but still better than Steam Deck LCD.
So what other problems/questions I have?
Issue 1:Is there a way to play DRM games in offline mode just as easy as Switch? I am a huge Sega fan and Sega loves adding Denuvo DRM which practically makes offline gaming impossible. Is there a way to circumvent this? I don’t want to pirate but I do want to enjoy my games without separate launchers/online authenticators? I also want to know if there is a full list of games that have this problem.
Issue 2: Battery life. How long will steam deck work when I play a game like GTA 5/ Fallout 4 at low settings (PS3 level of low)? I don’t care about graphics (I am a switch user). I am comfortable playing games at their lowest graphics which is 720p, 30 fps and PS3 level of detail. My only nitpicks is the battery life and stable performance.
Issue 3:Should I even buy it if I have a Switch for my handheld needs that suits me well minus the ability to play certain games and Xbox SX for the rest of my gaming needs? I am not interested in emulation except for maybe a few gamecube sonic games.

No. I don’t play consoles when traveling but I do couch gaming alot with my handhelds. 2 hours is a small amount for me.
I am not a picky person when it comes to graphics so I don’t mind playing at potato graphics as long as it’s 720p 30 fps. Which is PS3 level of fidelity.
