I know you may look it up but journalist sites aren’t the best at ranking games so wanted the communities thoughts. Also I have played some but only a little so I’d say still first time cause tons done in it

Played only a little of unity, syndicate, bought Odyssey but haven’t played much don’t think I liked it. When I was a kid I played 1 at my neighbor’s house though and I loved that and spent forever on it whenever I could

I want to play this series but I think I heard these games weren’t the best ones in the series so I wanna make sure I give the series a proper try with a classic.

I have 3 and 4 cause ps extra but haven’t played em. Or if there is one I should buy lmk! I’m on PS5 by way

    That depends on what are you looking for.

    You want some modern stealth game Unity and Syndicate is the choice.

    You want some fight then go with Origins and Odyssey.

    You’re into some 2.5D side scrollers Chronicles China and Russia was good, India is also fine.

    You don’t want huge games but still want fight then AC 3, Freedom Cry and Rogue might be a fit.

    You want to be Pirate, not an Assassin then Black Flag.

    But if you want true Assassin’s Creed experience with it’s mind blowing lore then go ahead and launch AC 2 then follow the series on release order.

    AC1 is really repetitive and boring, since you don’t mention that you can skip but you should watch some 5 min story recap.
