Linux Cyberpunk 2077 performs around 15% worse than Windows Cyberpunk 2077. Even when using the latest Proton GE, using an OS with Nvidia drivers built into it, 95% GPU utilisation and as much free RAM as possible, it still performs worse on Cyberpunk.
On Windows I get around 70 FPS while on Linux I get around 55 FPS. Barely scratches 60 FPS. Is there any reason this is? And can this be fixed to match the performance of my Windows partition?
Which GPU are you using may I ask? Because if it is an older card like GTX 10xx series it would have major performance issue due to hardware limitations. If you are using a more recent card maybe you can try an older driver like 525. I have been playing cyberpunk in the last two months on Ubuntu and it’s been great.
