Doesn’t matter. Anyone with negative views on it can suck it.

Worst case the org knew there was personal stuff going on with him, and like a true GOOD organization does they took him in hoping to help.

And whateve reason he’s away, its for his own benfit so leave it be.

Doesn’t matter if he had drug/alcohol issue, someone died, or if they gave him an early retirement, leave the narrative man.

Im more worried about the team itself.
