I’d love to eventually incorporate gaming into sessions as well as run D&D therapy groups. I’m just stumped for cool/innovative names. I thought about Full Mana, but there’s a somewhat similar name where I’m located. My favorite games are Bioshock, Portal, Tetris, Starfox 64…. If it matters. Thanks in advance for any cool ideas!
Folks, at the end of the day I’m just trying to help people and “be who I needed when I was younger.” If it’s not for you, that’s cool. But you don’t need to shit on something that has peer reviewed research showing it as effective and helpful for certain populations. And you don’t need to shit on me for trying a new approach to get people to engage in mental health treatment. I don’t know how this turned into an argument about therapy credentials or incorporating gaming into therapy. I’m grateful for all the people who responded with ideas. It’s super kind of you to take the time to help me. Thanks!
