I’m not saying i want him to be traded, but it’s obvious to me that he needs a top 10 defense around him to get into contention. Obviously out front office is incapable of doing so, so can Trae be traded for someone who has the offensive and defensive production to get us over the hump?
Probably 3 FRP’s and 1 good wing/forward prospect.
That said, this teams still crazy young, Trae’s shooting slumps been bad bad but his defense is improving significantly, he’s second in steals per game on the team while averaging 10 assists.
To me, that means if the other guys around him can start hitting their shots like they have been a few times this year - we can be a legit championship threat.
This roster has another 2 years before we hit our real championship window!
