All the experts keep saying this is one of the most talent packed rookie class in a long time with a lot of top tier QBs. Obviously being that we’re probably in the mix for a QB I just don’t see it. Maye seems super mid, Caleb Williams looks like a turnover machine, penix looks inconsistent. I just don’t get it. They don’t look like they have the talent that someone like Andrew luck had coming out, or someone dominant alike. Please someone school me and assure me I’m missing something. I understand you can have someone like mahomes or Josh Allen from some random school that ends up being good.

You draft based on traits (i.e. arm talent, processing, awareness), not college statistics/performance. Josh Allen’s college tape wasnt great, but he had elite traits that make him an elite NFL QB.
Maye & Caleb both have +traits and that’s what scouts are looking at when they assess these guys.
