Hi Reddit Makeup Community,

I have been using Laura Mercier tinted moisturizer as my foundation for maybe 4-6 months now. It’s running low so I’m going to have to replace it. But I think that as I age, I am actually going to require a little more coverage than a tinted moisturizer.

I tried Urban Decay foundation but it was SO thick and felt kinda cakey to me? So I thought to myself, surely there must be some in-between…more coverage than the tinted moisturizer but less thickness than a full-fledged liquid foundation.

Any suggestions for products? No allergies to speak of. I do prefer to buy cruelty-free. Thank you for any advice or guidance!

Armani Luminous Silk is perfect for mature women. The coverage is exactly what you’re looking for. Sephora will shade match you and give you a sample to try before you buy. It’s pricey but sooooooo worth it.
