Have you tried it without any forced proton compatibility?
Game runs fine - you don’t have to override anything that Valve is kindly set up for you.
Every time you change proton versions you should be deleting the proton files afterwards. Otherwise you’re going to get bunny turds left over from the last one.
I recommend turning off all forced compatibility, delete proton files, rerun the game and see if it behaves.
I had problem with the default that’s why I changed Proton prefixes. Does deleting old proton prefixes mean deleting comptdata (and the other shader one) or I forgot something.
