Their run blocking is bad. Finally Zack got rid of the ball quickly. He even had some time to look around make some plays with his feet. But The run blocking sucks.
Zack misses TD opportunities at least 2x. He has zero touch on the ball when he needs to drop it in rather than a bullet. He all about fast balls to receivers 10 to 15 years away. He good at it. That’s there only positive plays. Which doesn’t work on the five yard line. Even the Raiders rookie Qb threw a touch pass in the corner of the end zone to win the game.
That said, Zack can learn to improve on putting touch on the ball when guys are wide open down the field. He’s not able to hit the longish ball. Con Conklin was open for a td at the end with a great throw. Zack either didn’t see or he knows he can’t make that throw. When has he ever hit a short touch pass for a TD?
Bottom line. He has incredible talent. He can learn to throw better and more variety of passes. He will. He’s gotten 100 times better than last year. One more tick upward. We’ve got a great QB.
The common thread is zack isn’t the problem. He’s worth keeping because the unknown could be a lot worse than the known.
Salah looks like a deer in the headlights on the sideline and in the press room. He needs to stand up there an answer every question with… I don’t have the skill set to fix the offense. I don’t know what to do. Can anyone help me out with advice?
Woody Johnson has to take action. Fire Hacket. Let the assistant coordinator be promoted. The numbers are embarrassing. Hacket lost his job.
Hacket knows The NFL stands for Not For Long when you are responsible for these type of historically bad numbers. This is a no brainer decision Woody. Fire Hacket. See if the next man up can change the vibe. Do something!!
