I don’t currently own a Deck, but have been planning a purchase one for a few months now. I have no interest in the Limited Edition model, and plan to get a 512 GB OLED, if I can reserve one.
One piece of advice I read elsewhere on this sub is to pre-load the funds to your wallet, instead of ordering directly with a credit card.
That said, if I can’t get an OLED model, I may just grab a 512 LCD model instead and save some money.
What I’m wondering is if I should preload the funds for the OLED model, assuming I can buy one, or just enough for the LCD model as a fall back, and top up with my credit card if I do get a OLED model.
I really only buy games once or twice a year on sale, so I’d rather not have that much of a balance if I just get an LCD model instead.
Secondly - since I’m not going for the top-tier OLED models - is the advice to preload the funds still as valid? Obviously I know no one knows for sure, but if you have any guess or advice either way I’d be curious to hear based on previous experience. Cheers!
Yep - exactly!
