I recently got a flat tire, luckily I was home and I went to change it. Using the lug nut wrench that came with my car, I was unable to get any of the lug nuts to move. I am guessing after doing some research that they were put on by a power tool.
I eventually got the car towed but it made me realize how if I was out or diving I wouldn’t have been able to get the spare on.
What tools or lug wrenches/battery powered tools do I need to be self sufficient in changing a flat tire? Last thing I want is to be stranded because I can’t get the lug nuts off.
Thank you for the help!
I have a breaker bar in a tool box in my truck. My torque spec is 140ftlbs. Even with me standing on a 4way, I’m only 110ish lbs. Cordless tools are cool, but me actually remembering to put it back when I’m done and remembering to check/charge the battery are slim to none
