Hi folks, currently have a 2018 F-Pace 2.5t which has treated me well but would like to upgrade to either a Cayenne or Macan and looking for help on engine/model years. Open to lease or used, 80k budget. Thx for the help!

  • any years/engines considered more reliable than others? I drive from LA to Mammoth a few times each winter and don’t want to worry about ever being stranded.
  • prefer dashboards w at least some tactile buttons instead of everything digital (I’m old school I guess)
  • does real life Macan cargo space suck? F-Pace has identical exterior dimensions but cargo space specs are so diff (31 vs 17 c ft). Need to be able to fit skis, fishing poles, coolers. Leaning towards a Cayenne purely bc of cargo space concerns
  • any other things I should consider? My F-Pace has thankfully never given me a problem but would love to be able to up the fun factor with limiting any compromises

    I’ve got a 2022 Macan S and I love it. It is quite cramped however. If you want space I’d definitely go with the Cayenne if you want a Porsche. However, as a BMW owner I can’t help but recommend the X5 xDrive50e. Best PHEV SUV for 80k imo. But again, if you prefer having a Porsche I’d definitely choose the Cayenne considering your need for practicality.
