It’s clear as day the offense is broken and things need to change. But when you really break it down it’s clear as day nothing is going to change and every week they’re just going to keep ramming the square peg into the circle hole hoping for a different result.

The O-line stinks because of a combo of injuries and poor player acquisitions… But you can’t replace an entire offensive line mid season, especially after the trade deadline.

The head coach is abysmal. Take your pick, penalties, clock management, game management, looking lifeless on the sideline 98% of the game…. But it’s pretty clear there’s no chance they fire him even after the season, let alone in season. The moment Rodgers went down week 1 he pretty much became Teflon.

The OC is Gase level of bad. Run run pass, getting super conservative every time they reach the red zone. No creativity in the play designs or playing to the very little strengths Wilson has etc… but he’s Rodgers BFF and there’s no way they fire him, especially with Rodgers coming back.

And ofc the QB. What else is left to be said about him. He is who he is, which is one of the worst QB’s in the NFL. The best case scenario is he doesn’t turn the ball over, the defense plays as close to perfect as possible, the special teams makes 0 mistakes and you grind out 15-17 points and win a disgusting low scoring game. But the moment any of those 3 things doesn’t happen, he can’t win you the game…. but this GM thought he was the best backup for a 39 year old QB playing behind a bad offensive line (even though this same QB got benched twice last year and had a two year track record of being awful) and refused to make any meaningful addition to the QB room. So there stuck running it Wilson every week. (there’s an entire convo to be had about Douglas, but that’s a different post)

So yeah TLDR offensive stinks and all the usual shakeups a team would make ain’t happening, so we’re stuck with this for the rest of the year. Drink up boys, we’ll need it to sit through this mess.

Last year the collapse came at 6-3. This year the only thing that will keep them from going 4-13 is that they have a few chumps left on the schedule. If they don’t beat the Patsies, Commanders and Falcons, just blow the team up at the end of the year.
