I know it’s not breaking news or anything but still. This guy is so, so good. Honestly doesn’t even make sense that he wasn’t dominating in college and fell to the 4th just because of his measurables. Super strong hands, elite route runner, understands coverages, durable, amazing run blocker. Just an all around awesome weapon to have.
He’s up to 102.6 YPG now, which ranks 5th in the NFL behind Hill, Jefferson, AJB, and CeeDee. Despite getting more targets per game than he has had in his career, he is also exceeding his career high yards per target (9.4) and yards per reception (12.6). Not sure if there’s much he can do to continue to improve, but if there is, I don’t know how he won’t be a top 5 WR for a while.
Yesterday he caught a ball at +2 and then levelled his pads through a linebacker for six straight yards of RACYAC. Literally just pushed the motherfucker twenty feet back before he went down.
The only comparison I can make to that level of sheer physicality to size ratio is the great Anquan Boldin.
