Picked up During Light as it’s on sale 70% off but it just doesn’t launch. I’ve seen the help articles, but even after verifying the file system, installing the ‘missing’ dlls and forcing compatibility with GE-Proton8-23, the thing refuses to run.

Hit “play” and it starts to launch, but then returns immediately to the Home Screen. I’ve been trying to play this game for three days and have done hours of troubleshooting. How can this be considered verified on the deck if it’s widely known to have this problem? I got it to launch ONCE when forcing it to run on Steam Linux Runtime 1.0 (scout), but after seeing the title screen, the whole thing bricked and I had to restart my deck.

I’d still love to play this one but I’m reaching the end of my rope trying to tape it together. Has anybody here actually been able to run this after encountering this issue?
