Does anyone else think the offense is really close?
Every week we are seeing incremental improvements. A couple plays here and there and they could easily be 5-4. They’ve lost 4 games by an average of 2.75 points! It’s not like they are losing by double digits each week. This reminds me a lot of 2008.
I think a couple of improvements on the oline in the off-season and this offense could be very good. The skill position players are there and growing leaps and bounds.
Not really. They can’t even score 20 points in a game. Everything is still a struggle. Plagued by inconsistency across the board. Even yesterday the guy who is supposed to be their veteran leader had a terrible game. This season would be far more fun if the offense was functional and they were losing shootouts, but they aren’t even close to that.
