Some love for T-bone. Dude is still 7-2, and those games were in 2021, when we literally had no receivers because all of ours were injured, and had to sign free agents at the time, and kamara was injured. So we had basic routes easy to defend, and get interceptions, And our line sucked he was always under threat. And he still moves that junky trunk down the field. Three of those interceptions in the one cowboys game weren’t his fault bobbled by receiver into corner’s hands, and receiver slowed down then continued again and didnt make it. The guy gets the ball and his ginourmous quads down the field even with no receivers. It’s good football to watch. Even when everyone and their grandma has figured out pete’s favorite play last year of bring 7 out and have him run up the middle.

He’s never had a good shot and he still killed it despite it. This is absurd now how many saints fans don’t see it. And pete and whatnot.

Taysom good. Pray that pete can make some good decisions

If teams can draw up offenses to play to players’ strengths, such as what they’ve done for Fields and Bagent, Dobbs, Hurts, Lamar, etc., you see that you can make the most of the ability. Pete has a system he’s taken from Payton. But now it’s stale kind of like when Red Beaulieu stole Coach Klein’s playbook but was still using it 20 years after. If the team really wanted to make Hill a QB, they could’ve made a single read system with hot routes, maybe some RPO. Use the best athlete on the field and don’t stick him behind the line to progress through reads. But that ship has long sailed.
