As the title asks, I want to be able to set up a rule that notifies me when my tag goes out of range from me.

The other day my dog got out by breaking open a piece of fence board, and was found half a mile down the road near a busy intersection. She had a 10 minute headstart and we only found her because some random truck stopped as we were looking and said he had seen her.

This will let me know that she got out when I’m at home. And that way she would only have a couple hundred feet lead instead of a much larger one, and if I move quick enough, she’ll come back into range and then I can track her on the app through the map view

Looks like you can only get notified if your tag gets left behind; like say, leaving your keys or bag somewhere. In this case I want to know if my bag walks away haha. I imagine it’d be helpful too with bags and luggage that run risk of being stolen in busy places.

I took my sons phone and he kept mine and the dog and i walked several blocks away.

We were on the phone and he never got an alert that I went out of range. Even weirder, while it said it wasn’t connected and not nearby, when you go to the map, it shows the tag still at home with my phone.

Earlier when I took my daughter to gymnastics, I had my phone and the dog was left at home. It showed the collar coming with me all the way to the gym and back

    Something is wrong here
