Among the 33 QBs with enough dropbacks to qualify, Bagent ranks first in the NFL, having been sacked on just 3.4% of his dropbacks. Fields ranks 32nd, the second-worst in the NFL, having been sacked on 12.9% of his dropbacks.
Maybe it’s the game plan, maybe it’s Teven, or maybe…JF1 simply can’t plug the trigger when he needs to.
To be fair the defenses also played them differently.
This year every time Fields has done a fake/rollout the DE on the other team focuses on Fields and doesn’t even think about the rb. That has not been the case with Bagent as QB.
