Hello all, I’ve been thinking about getting an Apple Watch recently for the health features. Looking at the GPS model, either the AW SE or the Series 9 (Series 8 if I can find a good deal).

However, I don’t want to connect it via Bluetooth to save battery life, and was wondering whether that would be an issue. I think Bluetooth is required during the initial watch setup process, but is it required on a regular daily basis?

Note: I don’t care about getting messages, emails, and so on on the Apple Watch. I just want it for telling time, filling rings, and tracking my runs.
