This era of the Wolves has always been talented. They’ve always been able to beat good teams. Their problem has always been losing to teams they shouldn’t and giving games away over the course of the season. This would have been a double digit loss in any of the last four seasons. We’re finally to a point where the team has enough talent, maturity, and confidence in the system that they can persist and pull out these meaningless games that are actually very meaningful come June, and that gives me a ton of hope that they’re ready to take the next step.
