Hey everyone!
So, with the season winding down, I decided to take a peek at how the introduction of Emerald has shaken up the ranked system, specifically focusing on Diamond ranks in EUNE. My approach was pretty simple – I checked out op.gg for a few players and tried to gauge where they stood percentile-wise in the grand scheme of things.
Let’s break it down:
- D4 61 LP used to be 1.9% of the player base, and now it’s sitting at 2.82%.
- D3 2 LP was 1.6%, and now it’s bumped up to 2.51%.
- D3 88 LP was 1.3%, and it’s now at 1.7%.
- D2 24 LP was 1.1%, and it’s cruising at 1.6%.
What does this mean? Well, it looks like the Diamond rank got shuffled around a bit. A player who would’ve rocked D3 last year is now chilling in D2.
I’m curious about the rest of the ladder, but I’m not sure about the right tools to use for a broader comparison. If any of you have some suggestions, hit me up!
Now, what are your vibes on Emerald’s introduction? Are you feeling the shift, or not so much? Let’s chat!
I mean, not trying to say that you and your friends are not right but it might be a little biased. Frankly speaking i don’t know how to check what was the transfer of players from diamond last year to emerald this year. Anyway, playing in Emerald 3-4 feel like Gold/Plat which is suprising because it shouldn’t be like that according to changes by Riot.
Edit: D4 on Eune is top 45K
