i respect the overall body of work, but i watched game of thrones grow in popularity and people read it without the need to know what the show entailed. they read it because it was awesome and the lore was there. i rarely see the type of freefolk-esque, 2012-2018 discussion here, i subbed a while ago and no one really deviated from the show itself. but now daily it seems like “omg who cant wait for x” and it sucks for those of us with no access to the time to read the comics or those of us who would rather surprise and enjoy. i get that the images are blurred but even the titles now are just passive spoilers themselves.

i understand the sub as a whole is dedicated to invincible as both a comic and show, but i think this should be said. im probably gonna unsub so this is a true non issue but it just sucks that i cant really discuss invincible on reddit without it turning into a comic circlejerk. the boys sub isn’t like this but i imagine it is because they deviate from the comics and take liberty.

and i fear there will rarely be a place on the internet where people arent in a race to know things before everyone else.
