Hello! We have a new Grizzl-e 40a regular (not smart) charger that works fine for charging out 2021 rav 4 hybrid, but is not working on the 2013 Model S we are currently borrowing.
The Model S charges fine on a 120v outlet using the same adapter, and charges fine at my office with a juice box.
When we plug the grizzl-e in the light stays blue and says check charger power.
Grizzle says it’s Tesla’s problem and Tesla says it’s Grizzl-e’s, so hoping we can figure it out on our own!
Thank you!
I assume you have “reset” the charger a few times by cycling the power?
Also, set the S to really low amps, like 10 and try that. We were playing around with son’s home generator, took almost a minute to start charging so be patient.
