So I might be wrong, but isnt arm strength and throwing strength something can be improved ?

And more specifically, bullet tight window passes?

Im thinking with weight lifting and throwing repetition, a QB should be able to move the needle in the right direction.

When people applaud QBs like mahomes, Herbert, and Allen for their arm strength it’s because they can hit their targets from considerable distance with a quick, low arc pass even when they’re off balance or moving laterally. Bagent, like many QBs, knows how to rip the ball when he sets his feet and steps into it. It’s possible he’s above average at it too. However qbs are often in a situation where they don’t have time to put the strength of their whole body into a pass.

Is it possible to improve? I think we saw Fields himself improve on these throws, comparing year 3 to year 1 he puts a lot more zip on the ball and you can see him connect on those low-arc passes, and his release is a little quicker than before.

Every throw is situational. Combines and pro days are a 5% eval scenario. The real assessment is in game play, adjustment, footwork, progressions, and navigating tight windows from a pro defense coming to take your head off.

Bagent will have every bit of zip on his ball that Aaron Rodgers has. And won’t require the ayuhusca.
