This is probably a dumb question, I know, but I’ve always loved Porsche, I have around $8k for a “fun” car and was wondering what is the “best” used Porsche model from people who know alot more about this brand then me. I’ve been looking at some Boxters but I know they have their problems, I’m not afraid about working on a car, and know my way around a car decently well, but I’d still rather not have to be working on it all the time or dumping a ton of money into which, I know those two requirements dont usually doesn’t go together with old Porsche vehicles.
You can’t afford a Porsche unfortunately. You will buy a 8k car and need to budget another 8k in repairs, minimum. You can get into a nicer, more reliable, faster car than a Porsche at that price-point. Don’t buy a badge, buy the drivetrain you want.
