It’s always like this. When a player is doing well or his team is doing well, then not only is he awesome right but he’s always been and everything was someone else’s fault.

When a team or player is playing poorly then they’re overrated scum and everyone rushes to be the first to say that they were the enlightened one who knew all along that this player/team was trash and lump all the credit on someone else.

If Brooks was sucking ass right now and the Rockets stunk, while Memphis was at full strength and a top seed in the West, he’d be getting shat on even more than last year and people would say he was holding the team back and never contributed anything or some shit.
