Remember that all Kates are Kate. We’re both told that and shown that they all … well … climax … at the same time. And that’s fun and funny. But alongside that we have the fact that Kates are slaughtered by the dozens in even a simple Klaxan invasion. Each of them experience the pain of death, over and over and over again. And it’s all happening to one person.
Immortal and Kate bond over this. He’s lived a lot longer than Kate, but he hasn’t even come close to dying as much as she has.
