There’s been a lot of feelings about him recently. Observations about lack of effort on D, missing shots that were once a given, CJ’s post game thoughts (referenced not wasting god given talent or the opportunity to play while you still can for those who missed it), and his own comments about ‘trying to buy in’, which for the most part, did not go down well.

Many of us here would remember his first ever game, the excitement. Then the letdown it was, until it wasn’t. Do we just need to do this again, measure expectations? I feel like I’m watching a dude find his way out, one who had his life mapped out and it hasn’t gone as planned. I understand his frustration and the ways that’s showing on the floor. This is not a pass, but do we need to have a little more patience?

When the Saints got cheated vs the Rams a lil part of all my interests died and never fully recovered. That team and season was so special to have bounced back from the Minnesota Miracle to be even better and more endearing to the city. Then I just know we woulda killed the Pats as Payton-Brees always did well vs Belichick-Brady. Kamara woulda had a field day vs their slow ass linebackers and Brees woulda got more of the respect he deserves by not only having 2 rings but one against the other 2 GOAT QB’s from his generation
