My girlfriend just got the Apple Watch Series 9 (Pink). As the watch is quite expensive, she is using a case to protect it. Is it normal to snap a case on Apple Watch? Do you use a case with yours?

I have screen protector and case (AWU2). It makes already bulky watch even bulkier but I’ll settle with bad looks rather than scratches. And I’ve bumped it quite a few times.
