Respectfully, I have a question for Ravens fans.

I’m a Steelers fan who lives in DC and I’m considering buying tickets for the Ravens/Steelers game at M&T Bank in week 18. In your opinion, would this be a miserable experience for a Steelers fan? Would people be cool or do you think people would be so unhappy to see opposing fans that they would give us a hard time?

Honestly I kinda get it either way, I just wanna know what to expect before dropping the money. For what it’s worth, I’m a very respectful opposing team fan. I go to a ton of Capitals games as a Penguins fan and never have any issues because I don’t act like a dick. But I know NFL games can sometimes be a more aggressive environment.

Anyway, I would love some insights from local fans. Thanks!

Ive done something similar. A few years back, Baltimore played the Bills and I was in a bar that was LOADED with Bills fans. Only one supporting the black and purple

Know where you’re at. Keep your composure and realize that there may be jackass home team fans that wanna instigate. Just play it cool and be like “yeah, just here for hopefully a good game and experience.” And they’ll prob leave you alone

But jackass drunks can be at any stadium. Ignore them. The moment you start talking trash, you’ll get it back 50-fold if Baltimore takes the lead, so realize how outnumbered you are if you talk trash lol.

I kept my mouth quiet in the Bills bar the whole game, mainly because I know Baltimore can find ways to lose (look at last week). But when it was over, I just said good game to a couple trash talkers (that started it), and they waved me off lol. Some did say good game in return.
