This seems to happen every recent year, but people need to chill about “blowing it up” right now. After tomorrow’s game against Boston, we will have played the top 3 teams in the east TWICE! Not to mention playing the Mavs and Wolves who are both top 3 in the East. That’s gotta be one of the toughest schedules to start a season in a really long time, (that I can remember).

That being said, there was no excuse to lose to Chicago and Portland. They win those games and they are 7-4 right now. Pretty damn good. However, I don’t think many people expected them to beat the Mavericks and Bucks earlier. So they make up for those games in a sense.

I think before the season if you looked at the schedule and saw the first 11 games, you probably would’ve predicted a 5-6 start. Once the schedule starts to ease up a bit in terms of top tier teams, I think we will truly see how serious this team is. If they lose back to back to the magic again, that’s when alarm bells go off.

Jakob needs to start playing better immediately too, or we are BBQ chicken. 🍗

That’s why I’m saying they are lucky to be 5-6. Easily should’ve been a 3-8 record if not for Scottie and Pascal pulling off those comebacks. Blowing it up includes getting rid of Pascal, OG, Scottie because those are the players teams want to trade picks for. No team is gonna want Jakob, Trent, Dennis, and our bench guys.
