This shows how unfair the world of football is, Everton are a poor smaller club so the FA can punch down on them as they please. Whereas the top clubs are given special treatment and allowed to bend the rules, can hire the best lawyers and being state owned gives them unlimited power
“Whereas the top clubs are given special treatment”
I mean FFP does this as well.
Eg. Restaurant A has an early start in a neighborhood and earns 4 times as much revenue as Restaurant B.
Every good chef Restaurant B hires gets poached away by Restaurant A, because the local laws dictate Restaurant A can spend 4 times as much on payroll and the ingredients it buys.
Do you think this is fair competition?
The way FFP is setup, whether intentional or not creates an established hierarchy
Edit: Hopefully Everton win on appeal. They arent going to enforce the rules on the big clubs so they shouldnt on the small clubs.
