The demographics of non-NOLA in Louisiana don’t lend themselves. Basketball is a big enough high school sport, but football is king and there are just not enough people that appreciate it on the pro level. I think you have to see a few games before you fan up. Plus Ballys sucks and people don’t have good options to watch the games.
