Obviously, T.J. is doing great, half a sack behind Danielle Hunter and Myles Garrett. But the rest of our team is just not really producing like we would expect. Halfway through the season, Highsmith only has 4.5 sacks, and it’s only down from there, leaving our team outside of the top 10 for the season. We were first in the league every year since TJ joined the team until last year with TJ’s injury. I know that Cam was a centerpiece of the defense, but it still feels like we’ve had a huge decrease in production. Any ideas why?

Outside of the nailbiters, the Steelers are sadly becoming one of the more unwatchable teams in football.

rush and coverage work together and this season has seen some of the worst DB play they’ve had in years and then compound that by having Minkah out. JPJ can’t cover everyone.

Trying to force turnovers… It seems they want to keep a lid on things and allow the offense to take a lot of snaps… our sacks seem to be extremely timely … and in the second half the defense doesn’t allow much of anything… thus far… I’m just blabbing and speculating

We also aren’t really getting holding calls for us which encourages more o linemen to do it against us

In general, based on an evaluation I listened to, we are blitzing a lot less this year because we are getting pressure with just 4 and sometimes even 3 rushers… my guess is we haven’t added to this based on the struggles of the secondary…
