I’ve been a little frustrated watching him in the post, as he always seems to fade away from the basket, rather than attacking with power in to it. However, I just realized that this will greatly contribute to his durability, which I can definitely appreciate!

Some people want a physically dominating big like Embiid, but I’m perfectly fine with finesse touch big as long as he defends well. So far Ayton has looked decent to good on defense. The only issue is that he doesn’t draw too many fouls. I would like him to shoot more hook shots. I think that’s a way he could get to the line more. Bait guys into jumping into him trying to contest.
He’s got the 10th best field goal percentage in the league which is impressive considering his lack of dunks and layups.
