At the trade deadline, we see contenders target players they think can help their teams advance deeper in the postseason. Thus, it’s a great time for rebuilding teams to flip these types of players for draft capital. Over the last few years, we’ve seen players go for less than expected, or sometimes more than expected. Do you mean unprotected 1st round pick? Because there’s a massive difference between an unprotected first round pick vs a top 25 protected pick
