And does it have to ge 60 watt?
Any 65+W PD charger will work AFAIK. I already have 65W and 100W travel chargers that I plan to use for my FW13
As long as it supports a 20 volt output and the Power Delivery standard, it will work. That said I would consider 60 watt to be the minimum. If you’re making your machine work hard (especially the AMD model) you won’t have enough power left over to charge at a decent speed and might actually lose charge (as the system can at times consume over 60 watts).
That said, I carry around a tiny UGREEN 65-watt PD charger and it works really well. I have a larger charger that I take with me when I know I’m going to be loading the machine, but otherwise this keeps my daily carry light.
If you go third party, get a reputable brand. Ultimately you’re entrusting an expensive chunk of electronics to this device, so don’t cheap out on either the charger or the cable.
Tbh I never trust chargers or other electrical equipment off Amazon. I thought about these as well but I ended up going to Argos instead.
I have a couple of Lenovo 65W chargers that work fine. But I’m waiting on this one today. It’s a bit more compact and will be better for travelling with.
This page at Frame.work gives you all the required information.
Would this one be okay? https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/aw/d/B097ZQ18SG?ref=ppx_pt2_mob_b_prod_image
I bought one from lenovo, as they’re a trustworthy brand, and refunded my amazon purchase
Much better!
Hopefully for the last time, this is what I’ve purchased: https://www.lenovo.com/gb/en/p/accessories-and-software/chargers-and-batteries/chargers/4x20m26276?orgRef=https%253A%252F%252Faccount.lenovo.com%252Fgb%252Fen%252Faccount%252Forder%252Fdetail.html%253FecommerceId%253D1302168075&bc_pid=NFgyME0yNjI3Ng%3D%3D&CID=uk%3Aemail%3Athemj2&rrid=1100244917&variant_id=&run_key=ag9zfnRyaWdnZXJlZG1haWxyHgsSEUVtYWlsSFRNTE1ldGFkYXRhGIDAncmfjI8LDKIBCWxlbm92b19nYg&obem=PexjsVekNQP3ixxVPaGIrxyXySrXRoTVLWc5wuiDjqs%3D&bc_lcid=t6236973014933504lw5134557133627392
I’m doing the same, though I have a few already.
Any 60W USB C charger will do. Argos do a GaN charger from Anker, and you can get an Apple 2m USB C cable. Argos also do other 65W chargers as well.
I should mention that I live in the UK
