Limiting maps on relaxing quickplay and unranked i never played a round of ranked because i dont want to sweat.
But from a business perspective does forcing people into ranked increases player retention?
I dont think so… people will just be more toxic and rage more often because of solo queue and annoying teammates…

They’re not trying to ‘force’ anyone to play ranked. They just pushed through the changes to quick match/standard when it was clearly unfinished. More maps are being added to Quick Match next season - so eventually they will all return - and the Standard map pool will reflect the ranked map pool.
