This guy has been the top TE prospect for 3 years now. Would instantly be an upgrade over everyone in the TE room.

Nahhhh… I think we have our weapons set for a while honestly. Not crazy about that, but I think it is what it is. Pitt, Downs, Pierce, Ogletree, Woods, JT, Richardson. Don’t think we’re going to be going high after any offensive weapons in the near future, maybe round 3-4 for another RB after Moss leaves. Likely we’re going for CB at 1, Brent’s and Flowers both looked solid, Jones looks like he can develop into something solid. But who knows how Flowers will look like after coming back and it’s hard to bet on a 7th rounder developing into a starter… regardless we need another solid CB. If not CB, swinging at edge is always a good choice. I know Kelly is playing well, but he’s no young buck anymore. Grover will also be 31 next year so DI might be something to look at.

Basically my point is, I would be surprised if we go after a skill guy before 3.

Ogletree is actually a stud though. The dude can run block really well and is good at pass catching too. I think our actual issue is secondary help. Like we get consistently shredded there.

I see so much hype around him, but don’t ever watch Georgia. Is he like Pitts or more like Kelce?

Don’t need a TE. Need a number 1 separation receiver

TEs rarely go in the first round and those that do tend to not live up to the hype.

Honestly don’t think we need help in our TE room. I actually think we are pretty stacked in that department.

We need help at CB so if that isn’t going to be addressed in FA then we need a stud in the draft. Another WR would be nice but if we can’t have MHJ then I’m not sure how much of a priority that really needs to be. Pitt will likely be signed and downs is going to be something special. If Pierce gets things going regularly by the end of the season we are in good shape.
