Genuinely still believe Ridder would have been better if we had a competent HC and a real Quarterback Coach.

This article talks about how Arthur Smith is why our QB’s haven’t had the success they thought they’d have because of AS poor play calling and giving little help to the QB’s

Idc if Smith is here the rest of the season… I hope he’s gone next season

Our qb haven’t had success because they aren’t good QBs … smith sucks too but they simply don’t have tools to be anything more than backups … no need to skip this deep QB class hoping on a prayer

Friendly reminder that Arthur has started 4 different QBs in his tenure as the Falcons head coach. Matt Ryan, Marcus Mariota, Desmond Ridder, and Taylor Heinicke. None of their offenses succeeded.

At a certain point as a head coach, you have to stick with somebody and make your system work around their skillset. QB carousels don’t win Super Bowls. Drafting a mid-1st round QB isn’t going to be the magical cure.

Ridder is going to be ridder regardless.

While you ridder fans trying to hate on Smith… he is a bigger fan of ridder than most all football fans to be honest.

99% of coaches aren’t going to put their jobs on the line and alter the way their offense is supposed to run to a fault like Smith did for ridder.

You can say whatever the fuck you want about Smith… but don’t blame him for ridder being ridder. He gave him more chances than anyone else would have. To a fucking fault.
