Hey photographers,

I’m shooting an even this weekend for a grand opening of a new office site. I have a canon 70D, and am wondering if I should purchase a mounted flash for the night? I dont think it will be dark in the venue, but to make sure the photos look crisp and have better lighting, is a flash needed? Also, they are going to have a standing white backdrop with their logo on it for guests to take photos in front of. What kind of lighting set up should be used for it? I have one medium-strong light with soft box that I could set up, would one be enough, does it make a difference if I have a mounted camera flash?
