Curious to gauge the sub’s opinion on him at the moment. I understand he’s quite polarising but I personally really like having him on the roster. Yes he will take a few selfish shots a game, but he also doesn’t get credit for the few assists he does get from time to time by making the simple play instead of shooting. Plus without his buckets yesterday I don’t believe the comeback would’ve been possible.

He is one of the few tradeable assets that we could afford to lose I suppose, but I’d much rather have him on the roster.

He’s definitely a trade piece, I mean he’s literally been on the trade block for a while now.

The only question is if the Mavs can find a trade that makes sense this year, or will THJ be traded as an expiring contract next year.

I have no idea how Mavs fans could have watched THJ going back to the all star break and still want to trade him for pennies on the dollar. THJ was like 1 of the 3 good things about the Mavs since the Kyrie trade. His shooting is essential to this team and any trade including him needs to be for a wing player who is actually capable of playing 25-30 mpg.
