As a Heat fan who got to experience so much winning and trophy lifting…
Once you get to the mountain top the only thing that matters after that is doing it again.
Anything short is not viewed in a positive light.
Getting to the NBA Finals last year was sooo unexpected because we were the #8 seed.
And I thought, “no matter what happens, I’ll be happy” because it was unexpected.
But I was wrong…as the final second ticked away, I was devastated, and I wish we had not made it to the Finals because it felt like we were really going to win.
My positive nature turned bitter so quickly and I was completely angered by the fact we had allowed such a golden opportunity go to waste.
If this team even gets close to a SB…we MUST win it.
No ifs, and, or buts…sometimes you get ONE chance, ONE opportunity.
Marino didn’t know it…but he only got that ONE chance.
