To be clear, this is not a pity post. I would still prefer to be in my position vs being on the cusp of the playoffs.
However, I have noticed my interest dwindling as it becomes more and more apparent that I will be getting the bye. I have had a 2 game cushion since week 8, and it definitely takes away from the excitement on Sundays. When every week is super important, the excitement from your RB breaking off a big TD run feels 10x greater.
Again, not a pity post. Just discussing my experience.

The human side of me agrees with you and how not having a challenge can cause you to lose interest. But the fantasy manager in me is shaking his head at your idea to post this on the sub. I doubt there are many with your record given unfortunate injuries and ridiculous fall offs so you’re probably going to get cooked for a while.
